Let's talk
AWS Foundation Setup

Get AWS ready for the business you're building.

We set up the accounts, access, networks and core infrastructure your team needs to work on AWS. Get a clear structure, visibility of costs and a setup your team can manage as the business grows.

Best fit

When it helps

When you're getting started on AWS or bringing an existing setup into shape.

  • The product is moving. The setup isn't.

You're preparing to use AWS, but account structure, access and networking keep competing with product work.

    • Agree the environments and shared components you need.
    • Configure the account, access and network structure.
    • Document what is ready and what still needs application work.
  • The early setup has become the permanent one

What worked for a small team is harder to manage now, with unclear access and environments that need a clearer separation.

    • Review the agreed account and environment boundaries.
    • Configure clearer access and separation where needed.
    • Check the changes and document the resulting structure.
  • Costs are hard to follow

You can see the bill, but not enough of what is driving it or when spending is heading beyond your plans.

    • Agree how to group and identify infrastructure costs.
    • Configure cost visibility and budget notifications.
    • Show your team how to review spending and act on alerts.
  • You have the design, but no time to build it

The technical direction is clear. Finding time to configure, check and document the AWS foundation is the problem.

    • Work from your existing design and priorities.
    • Build the agreed foundation and check its configuration.
    • Hand it over with clear operating instructions.
Scope & deliverables

A clear foundation for your AWS environment.

We agree the accounts, environments and shared infrastructure to set up, along with any provider or tool costs.

What's included

The structure your team needs.

  • An account and environment structure based on the agreed design and business needs.
  • Access settings and permissions for the agreed people and systems.
  • Network configuration and core infrastructure for the selected environments.
  • Cost visibility and budget notifications, with named recipients.
  • Configuration checks, operating documentation and a handover walkthrough.
What you receive

A configured environment with a clear handover.

  • The agreed AWS foundation, configured in your accounts.
  • A map of the accounts, environments, access arrangements and networks.
  • Cost views and budget notifications, with guidance on what they cover.
  • Configuration check results and an operating guide, including remaining gaps and next steps.
Out of scope

Not part of this setup.

Any further work is optional and agreed separately.

  • Moving existing applications or changing application code.
  • Ongoing infrastructure management, monitoring or incident response.
  • A company-wide security or compliance program.
Process

How it works

We take care of configuration, checks and documentation, working with your team on the decisions that shape the setup.

  1. Agree the foundation

We start with your priorities and any existing design, then agree the environments, components, access, price and timing. Expected provider and tool costs are made clear before setup.

  2. Build the agreed setup

We coordinate access and configure the accounts, permissions, networks and shared infrastructure. Any work affecting live systems follows an agreed change plan.

  3. Check it works as agreed

We check the configuration against the agreed requirements, including access, connectivity and budget notifications. We record anything incomplete or still dependent on application work.

  4. Hand over the foundation

We walk your team through the setup, cost views and routine administration. The documentation makes clear what is in place and who will manage it after handover.
