Let's talk
Server Provisioning Automation

New servers without starting from scratch.

A new server shouldn't mean repeating the same setup work. We automate the creation and configuration, check the results, and give your team a clear way to run the process.

Best fit

When it helps

When preparing another server means repeating work, checking details or waiting for the person who knows the process.

  • Another server. The same setup work.

Your team keeps repeating the same creation and configuration steps when a new server is needed.

    • Identify the server types and setup steps to automate.
    • Build a repeatable process using suitable tools.
    • Check completed servers against the agreed requirements.
  • Small differences cause problems later

New servers are meant to work the same way, but missed steps and slightly different settings make them harder to use and support.

    • Define a common setup while keeping necessary differences.
    • Apply the agreed settings through the automated process.
    • Add checks that flag missing or incorrect configuration.
  • Setup waits for the person who knows how

Important steps live in someone's memory. Others hesitate to prepare a server or take over when a setup stops halfway.

    • Turn the agreed process into documented automation.
    • Make required inputs and remaining manual steps clear.
    • Give your team instructions for incomplete runs and handover.
  • You know what to automate. Time is the problem.

The required setup is clear, but building and checking the automation keeps losing out to more urgent work.

    • Work from your existing design and preferred tools.
    • Implement the agreed server creation and configuration.
    • Test initial and repeat runs, then hand the process over.
Scope & deliverables

A repeatable setup, with the checks built in.

We agree which server types to cover, where the process starts and what a completed server must include.

What's included

From creation to a checked setup.

  • A defined starting point and finished configuration for the agreed server types and platforms.
  • Automation to create servers and apply the agreed configuration, using suitable existing or new tools.
  • Checks that completed servers meet the agreed setup requirements.
  • Validation of initial runs, repeat runs and agreed incomplete-setup scenarios.
  • Run instructions, guidance for maintaining the automation and a team handover.
What you receive

A process your team can use again.

  • Working automation and configuration files for the agreed server types.
  • A record of supported platforms, required inputs and expected server configuration.
  • Check results, with known limitations and any remaining manual steps recorded.
  • A guide to running, updating and handing over the process, including what to do when setup is incomplete.
Out of scope

Not part of this setup.

Any further work is optional and agreed separately.

  • Deploying application releases or changing application code.
  • Correcting configuration across your existing server fleet.
  • Ongoing server management or maintenance of the automation after handover.
Process

How it works

We take care of building, checking and documenting the process, working with your team on what each server needs to be ready for.

  1. Agree the required setup

We start with your existing process and any plans already in place. Together we confirm the server types, starting point, finished setup, price and timing, including any provider or tool costs.

  2. Build the automation

We coordinate access and implement the agreed creation and configuration steps. Existing tools stay part of the process where they fit, with any remaining manual steps made clear.

  3. Check the process and its results

We run the automation in the agreed environment and check the resulting servers. We also test repeat runs and selected failure scenarios, recording what happens and how to handle incomplete work.

  4. Hand over a usable process

We walk your team through running the automation, checking results and making routine updates. You receive the files, documentation and known limits, with ongoing ownership agreed before handover.
